Success Stories

To date, UCImpact is providing support to numerous student projects, including:

Senior Class Gift: UCImpact helped to organize a 2010 Senior Class Gift committee that has since selected as its beneficiary the UCI Student Center. Specifically, graduating students are raising funds to complete the center’s bell tower that, to-date, hasn’t been able secure state funding to finish. The 2010 Senior Class will make the leadership gift to complete this campus icon.

Sigma Chi Fraternity: UCImpact helped the fraternity to pool its numerous fundraising initiatives into one permanent endowment that will continue to support annual scholarships to incoming freshman excelling in community service, academics, athletics and leadership but with a greater payout and more stable yield. The fraternity has committed to raising $25,000 as seed money for its endowment.

UCI Care-a-thon: UCImpact has been able to provide much-needed technology and logistics support of this Student Alumni Association program. The students plan to raise $25,000 to donate to UCI’s neonatal intensive care unit while hosting a 12-hour dance marathon.
